The 1st annual fund raiser, "An Evening of Art from the Heart" was held on March 12, 2005 at El Rocio Retreat featuring live music, wine-tasting, and an art show
The fundraiser is held to help defray the costs for the summer youth camp that Project Insight offers each year.
Each year there is an award recipient.

The 6th annual fund raiser, "An Evening of Art from the Heart" will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at El Rocio Retreat featuring live music by Joseph Walker, wine-tasting, and an art show. This years honorees are Rik Garza and Laura Canales. (1954--2005)
A silent and live auction will be conducted. Food will be catered by Smokies BBQ.
